Catching up

I am a bit surprised no one is giving me grief about not posting! I have been very busy this week and have not had a chance to post...BUT I have been working out.

Saturday I ran 3 miles
Sunday I lifted a bit and then played in a "celebrity" basketball game.
Monday was a beautiful day so I biked and ran.
Tuesday I decided I needed a day off. I walked a short walk with my lovely bride.
Wednesday: a short cycle of lifting, biking and running.

Which brings me to today:

I got up early and swam 600 meters

Breakfast: Coffee and banana
Lunch:
Dinner:

We shall see how working out works today!

Catching Up

So I have a couple of weeks until my first race and I have been a bad boy. I have fallen off the workout wagon. It's not as though I have not worked out at all...but certainly not consistently...and the diet has been bad.

Today is Sunday and I didn't feel like working or working out. So I decided to kill two birds with one stone and I ran to work. After a bit of work I ran most of the way home!

My guess is I ran between 4 and 5 miles. It's not nothing...but I am not in the shape I need to be in!

Breakfast: Coffee
Lunch: 2 ham sandwiches
Snack: Salad with nuts and bacon bits
Dinner: Pizza

What? The NCAA was on!
